MyKepo was designed to support all types of sellers and service providers. You can be selling products to the whole of Malaysia, or focused on small local community (e.g. home cooked foods or fresh produces). You can be an owner of a tuition centre guiding nearby students to success, or a branding agency having clients all over Malaysia.

MyKepo's system is very flexible, and are able to suit all types of sellers. Nevertheless, we do not accept illegal businesses under the law of Malaysia. All sellers will be screened. Our crew will also perform random check daily to ensure all sellers are selling legal and authentic products and/or services.

MyKepo platform is a trendy social marketplace designed by Malaysian seller for Malaysian sellers. It is build for Malaysian sellers to make better profit margin, and in turns, providing better prices and services to the local community.

On MyKepo platform, seller is not a "product", but a community partner that builds the Malaysia economy together and create better value and lifestyle for all Malaysian.

Register as a seller is free. However, to start publishing products requires subscription to a seller package. With the price of less than a bowl of noodle, you can publish a product in MyKepo platform for 30 days. Click here to check on our seller packages.

Other than subscribing to our seller package, the seller only has to pay 3.8% + RM1 for a payment gateway fee per transaction. There is no commission involved between seller and MyKepo.

MyKepo social marketplace was designed to support all types of sellers and service providers. As long as your business is legit in the law of Malaysia, and selling products or services that are allowed in Malaysia, we are excited in having you on board.

Please fill up the form on Seller Sign Up page and click SUBMIT button. MyKepo crew will assist you in setting up your account within 72 working hours.

Upon successful setting up of your account, you shall receive an email to activate your account. Please check your junk mailbox if you have yet to receive it after 72 working hours.

Please note that if the Store Name requested is not available, MyKepo crew will use another name that is close to the requested name. Although Store Name can be changed after account activation, if you plan to make it right on registration, you can check the Store Name availability by searching the Store Directory page (Click on Filter button, enter the desire store name and click Apply button to perform the search).

Upon Log in to your seller account, scroll down to the "Seller" section within the footer of the platform. Click on My Store. The link will bring you to your store's dashboard.

At your dashboard menu, select Settings, which will bring you to the Store section. Please feel free to update all the information, e.g. uploading a store cover image, uploading a logo to profile picture, select relevant store categories, business days and hours, etc. Upon satisfaction, click UPDATE SETTINGS button to save the settings.

Log in to your seller account and go to your Seller Dashboard. At the dashboard menu, scroll to the bottom 3 icons. The left most icon is the Visit Store icon. Click on it will bring you to your store front.

MyKepo platform is partnering with Stripe payment gateway for automated payment. Thus, all sellers are required to set up an account with Stripe (it is free) to receive payment.

Withdrawal of your earnings will be weekly (Monday), which was fixed, and will run automatically, if you have already connected your Stripe account in your seller dashboard.

To register for a Stripe account

If you are yet to have a Stripe account, please click here to register one. Upon successful registration, you should receive an email to verify your email address. Please proceed to verify your email and set up all the necessary information (Settings > Business settings > Your business).

To connect your Stripe account

Upon log in to your Seller Dashboard, select Settings on the dashboard menu, then select Payment. Click on the Connect with Stripe button and input email that you used in registered for a Stripe account to proceed.

MyKepo platform was designed to allow seller to have full freedom on choosing their own shipping partner(s). This way also provide better warranty return, so as the return products will not have chances of missing in the platform provider's warehouse. We encourage sellers to choose shipping partner(s) that are reliable, and could be easily accessible from your warehouse's location. Seller can negotiate with the shipping partner(s) for better rates.

Upon log in to your Seller Dashboard, select Settings on the dashboard menu, then select Shipping. Click on Add Shipping Method will bring you to another page. If you are not shipping to the whole of Malaysia, you can select particular states that you ship too or turn on the Limit ZIP/postcodes, then enter the postcodes (separate the postcodes using commas).

Click on the ADD SHIPPING METHOD button, and select the method to add. After adding the method, hover over the Method Title and click Edit. Follow the instruction to complete the setting.

Flat Rate

As the name denoted, the shipping rate is flat. For example, RM6 per item (6*[qty]) for shipping all over Malaysia. If you need to have 2 flat rates, e.g. one for East and one for West Malaysia, add the Flat Rate method twice and name them accordingly (e.g. Flat Rate - West Malaysia).

Local Pickup

If you allow your customers to collect their orders from your warehouse or physical store, you can add this shipping method. For this method, you can also have a service charge if it is necessary.

Free Shipping

You can offer free shipping to your customer with this shipping method. You can set the minimum order amount for your customer to eligible for free shipping.

Table Rate

The Table Rate method allows you to input a more complex shipping rate. For example, you can charge shipping rate by weight, by item, by total order, special wrapping, bulky products, fragile products, etc.

To set up, select a relevant Calculation Type and then click ADD SHIPPING RATE button at the table to add a row.

There are 4 selections for Calculation TypePer Order calculates shipping for the entire cart. Calculated rates per item calculates the rate by checking each item in the customer's basket against the table of rates. Calculated rates per line item looks at each line in the basket and checks that against the table. Multiple of the same item is on the same line. Calculated rates per shipping class calculates the total of each shipping class and offered at a final rate.

For example, if you plan for shipping by weight. Select Weight under Condition section. Enter a min - max (without unit, Kg) (e.g. 0.01 - 1) and enter the cost in the Row Cost (without unit, RM) (e.g. 6.80). This mean that anything below or equal to 1kg is RM6.80.

MyKepo has a Refund and Returns Policy as a standard guideline. Nevertheless, we encourage every seller to set up their own return and warranty policy that is more relevant to their products or services, and more details. This is crucial in gaining trust with potential customers, and thus, increase selling.

To set up your own Return and Warranty Policy, log in to your Seller Dashboard, select Settings on the dashboard menu, then select RMA. Update the relevant information, change the standard policy to your own policy, and click SAVE CHANGES button.

To check and accept return, log in to your Seller Dashboard, select Return Request on the dashboard menu.

MyKepo platform already build-in a search engine optimisation mechanism. Nevertheless, the seller is encouraged to input more relevant store title, store description and keywords. Keywords that are closely related to your products or services are always very crucial for potential customers to reach out to you.

Other than search engines (e.g. Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.), you can also set up the same, specifically for Facebook and Twitter. That will help to show how you want your store to appear when you share it on Facebook or Twitter.

To customise the search appearance of your store, log in to your Seller Dashboard, select Settings on the dashboard menu, then select Store SEO. Input all the information and click SAVE CHANGES button.

To add a new product or edit a product, log in to your Seller Dashboard and select Products.

To add a new product

Click ADD NEW PRODUCT button. Input all the basic information and click Create Product button (if you want to add more product, click on CREATE & ADD NEW button). Please note that that is only basic product information. You have to edit the created product to input more details.

To edit a product

Click on the product name to be edit, fill in all the information and click SAVE PRODUCT button.

There are 4 product types you can use in setting up your product. Product Type can be found under Title. The statement below explains the type and how to set up.

Simple

Simple product type is for product without variation. If you choose Simple product type, you have 3 choices to set up your product. It can be a physical product, a downloadable product or a virtual product.

If you are preparing a physical product, do not select Downloadable and Virtual. You just need to update all the information, upload the relevant images and click SAVE PRODUCT button. If you are not ready to publish the product, go to the Other Options section and select Draft from the Product Status drop-down, then click SAVE PRODUCT button.

If you are selling a downloadable product (e.g. software, music, photo, etc.), please select Downloadable below the Product Type. Upon selection, you will find that an extra section (Downloadable Options) appears under Inventory section. Click on Add File button, insert the file name and the link to the file, then click SAVE PRODUCT button.

Virtual product is opposite to the physical product. Yet, the setting up is similar. Only the system will not trigger shipping if Virtual is selected.

Variable

Variable product type is for products with variation, e.g. different colors, sizes, patterns, etc. To set up Variable product, just select Variable from the Product Type drop-down.

.

Upon selecting Variable, go to Attribute and Variation section. Select Custom Attribute and click Add attribute button. An Attribute Name field will appear. Add the Name (e.g. Colour) and the Value(s) (e.g. Blue, Red, Black, White, etc.). Make sure you selected Visible on the product page and Used for variation. Then, click on SAVE ATTRIBUTE button.

A new field (with "Add variation") appear after you saved the attribute. Select Create variations from all attributes and click Go button. A dialog box will pop up. Just click OK button to link all variations.

Subsequently, select the variations and populate the information. Click the image to upload an image for the variation. Make sure it is Enabled (else the variation will not appear for your customer to choose). You can also select Manage stock to allow you to input stock quantity. Click SAVE VARIATIONS button to save all the settings. Upon satisfaction, click SAVE PRODUCT button.

External/Affiliate Product

If you already have an e-commerce site and plan to channel the MyKepo customers to buy on your e-commerce site, then External/Affiliate product type is suitable for you.

Upon selecting External/Affiliate Product from Product Type, insert the Product URL and Button text (e.g. Buy from XXX), then click SAVE PRODUCT button.

Group Product

If you are selling multiple Simple products and want to bundle them together, Group product type is for you. In example, you are selling sofa with one-seat, two-seat, three-seat and coffee table separately (as a separate Simple product), and now you want to create a bundle so that your customer can buy a complete set with better price.

Create a new product and select Group Product from Product Type drop-down. Subsequently, scroll down to the Linked Products section and insert the related Simple products in the Grouped products field. Click SAVE PRODUCT button to save the setting.

To add a new product or edit a product, log in to your Seller Dashboard and select Products on the dashboard menu. Hover over the product name and click Delete Permanently. Please note that the action is irreversible.

To create coupons for your customers, log in to your Seller Dashboard and select Coupons on the dashboard menu. Click on ADD NEW COUPON to create a new coupon.

To fulfil and track orders, log in to your Seller Dashboard and select Orders on the dashboard menu. From there, you can manage the orders. You can also export the order list.

All customer's enquiries come in a form of support tickets. Each support tickets is unique, and you can reply to the customer from there.

To manage your customer's enquiries, log in to your Seller Dashboard and select Support on the dashboard menu. Tickets that are still active will be under open tickets. Once the case is closed, you can change the ticket status to close.

All customer reviews will be automatically approved. Nevertheless, you can always view the comment to make sure it is ok. You can manage the reviews by unapproved it, mark it as spam or delete it.

We encourage seller to always go through received reviews seriously and improve from there.

To manage your customer's reviews, log in to your Seller Dashboard and select Reviews on the dashboard menu. To manage them, just hover over the comment and click either Unapprove, Spam or Trash. You can view the review by clicking on View Comment.

Upon log in to your account, click your username or your avatar at the header menu.

Yes, you can promote your store, your products, your services, your sale event, etc. to the community.

To share that with the community, go to your profile and select My Timeline on the menu. Prepare your content and click POST button.
